Accessing Electronic Course Reserves for Safari Browser Users

SAFARI Users: In order to access electronic course reserve documents using the Safari browser for the Apple MAC, Safari users will first need to login to their MyLibrary account, click on the Course Reserves button, search for their course, select the electronic document then enter the Course Password to complete authentication. Users of other browsers also need to authenticate using their MyLibrary login and Course Password, however they may do so after selecting the electronic document from the course record display.

Below are a series of screenshots that illustrate the process needed to authenicate for electronic course reserves using the Safari browser.

Step 1. Login to your MyLibrary account. You can quickly access the MyLibrary login from the top navigation bar anywhere within IBISWEB

Step 2. From within your MyLibrary account, click on the GO TO COURSE RESERVES button

Step 3. Search for your course by course number or instructor

Step 4. From the course record display, click on the title of the electronic resource you'd like to view

Step 5. The screen will split into two frames. Enter the Course Password in the verification screen in the lower frame

Step 6. The lower screen frame should now display the contents of the electronic resource
